Sturdy little unit. Suction cup works great on my granite countertop. Juice yield quantity was very disappointing, though. Now, I was not expecting to see a deluge of green juice issuing forth from this device. However, I was hoping to get more than I got. I ran one 4" x 4" containter of wheatgrass through this juicer and got only a tablespoon or so of juice. At $2 a tray, it would cost around $10 to get a satifying amount of wheatgrass juice. I can't afford that on a daily basis. The picture on the box shows a nice, full glass of juice. Yeah, right. You would have to run an entire meadow's worth of grass through this juicer to achieve that.
The "waste" that came out of the front orifice was very wet with juice. I had the end cap screwed on nice and tight along with the end screw cap. I also tried juicing some carrots. Same thing. Wet material comes out the front, a sparse amount of juice reaches the discharge tray.
I think that the "grinding chamber" has too big a gap in it or something. It simply isn't extracting a sufficient amount of juice. I wonder if I could do something to improve this unit's efficiency. I really like it and really want to continue taking wheatgrass juice.
Sadly, to you all, I cannot recommend this juicer.

This hand-operated machine works surprisingly quickly and efficiently. My kids are experts at extracting wheat grass juice and love using this device. I swear I feel more energetic after each serving. Highly recommended!

I ordered one of these puppies because a friend raved about his; Yeah,I read the reviews... I find this unit very very easy to use, clean and assemble. Whats the fuss? I've been juicing carrots and broccoli stems from the garden so far with great results. If it is hard to turn the crank, back it up and fish out the big parts until you get a feel for what it will take in thickness and length. Myself it's carrots 3/4" thick max at 2-3 inches long. Broccoli stems were fine at 1/2" thick and 2-3 inches long. As far as juice production, I don't think it takes any more carrots than my old electric juicer that I gave away years ago. That monolith was a CHORE to clean for juice. I gave up juicing because of it. This sweet unit is very easy to disassemble and clean with no hard cleaning corners or nooks. You even get a few spare parts! The suction cup works fine for me. I may wipe the counter with a slightly damp rag to aid suction; too wet and it slides. This is a really well designed little unit; don't be shy because it is plastic. It's pretty tough if you pace yourself and avoid hard cranking. I'm thinking of getting famous in the Guiness Book of World Records by juicing that old Ford Pinto I'm using to check erosion in the back fourty...Of course, it'll take a small fortune in hacksaw blades to get 'er down to good sized juicable pieces,but I'm game. Just think, you'll be able to say you knew me Before...

For a manual juicer it is ok. If one were going to be serious about juicing wheatgrass
they might want to invest in an electric unit.

Simple and durable design was very attractive. If your not lazy and don't mind a little work this thing is impeccable. Precutting up my stuff no big deal. Turning the handle a few revolutions no big deal. It does a excellent job for what it was made to do. Very easy to build and break down and cleaning is a cinch.
